Lulu was spotted by two women out on a country road. Lulu was frantically running around darting back and forth across the road. It was clear that she had recently given birth. No puppies were found.
They couldn't get her into either of their cars, but Lulu made her way back to the porch of one of their farms.
They called Roughneck Rescue & Sanctuary to come out and scan for a micro chip. No surprise, no chip. We alerted the local animal control, local police department and put her on several lost pet sites.
We knew we had to help this girl so we took her into rescue. We got her to the vet two days later and she got all of her shots and treatment for whip worm. She is scheduled to be spayed on July 18th.
After Lulu recovers from her spay surgery, she will be ready to find her new forever home. Lulu is the best girl and will be a wonderful companion.
